Carshalton Dance Centre opens its doors in September offering first class dance classes for children in Carshalton, Wallington and Sutton. Although new in name, the dance staff are seasoned and experienced dance teachers from other well established dance schools.
As an establishment, Carshalton Dance Centre (CDC) has high Licentiate trained teachers, I.S.T.D. Dance Examiners and ex-professional industry teachers on the team, and all are very experienced teachers who will get the most out of each children. We offer a fun and structured programme in ballet, street dance (commercial street), modern jazz, tap, contemporary and musical theatre (singing, dancing and acting). We offer a free trial for all ages from pre-school to teenagers and those studying dance at Advanced levels.
The Principal is Royal Ballet trained and an ex West End performer, having worked on shows such as Cats, The King and I and West Side Story. Now with over 27 years teaching experience and over 22 years running a dance school, she is an official I.S.T.D. ballet examiner and has recently been appointed the Deputy Lead Examiner for children for the I.S..T.D. This means all the children will benefit form her extensive knowledge and guidance.
